BACK EXTENSION TRAINING
This simple piece of equipment is fabulous at targeting important postural muscles.
The action of either rolling up or extending upward to straight body position utilizes the neck extensors and retractors, the back extensor muscles, gluts, hamstrings and calves.
The machine may be used to perform:
* Rotation movements ie. beginning in flexion and ending in extension and rotation
* Lateral flexion movements, with additions of single leg support as demonstrated bellow.
* Bilateral or unilateral movements by either using one leg or two.
