What are specialist exercise/ gym programs?

At Function and Form Physiotherapy and Exercise our unique personalised gym/ exercise programs are created by a Physiotherapist/ Exercise Physiologist.  Programs are designed for your individual goals and needs whilst taking into account any specific injuries or areas of concern.

New

specialist exercise/ gym programs

Clients who have not previously received an exercise program from Function and Form should select the New Program option, and from there, depending on the number of program splits required, choose either a New one-day split, New two-day split, or New three-day split. (In simple terms, a split program is a different training program for each training session.)
The program package includes an injury and exercise assessment, along with addressing exercise preferences, the length of the program, and the type of equipment available. The program is then created by Function and Form. During the second consultation, the program is demonstrated and video recorded as you complete each exercise. Approximately two weeks later, there is a follow-up appointment to ensure the exercise execution is on point and to progress the intensity of the exercises if appropriate.

Update

Clients who wish to receive a new, updated exercise program from Function and Form should select the Update Program option, and from there, depending on the number of program splits required, choose either a Update one-day split, Update two-day split, or Update three-day split.
The program package includes a review of the previous exercise program, and previously provided information regarding exercise preference, program length, and equipment availability.  Plus a brief review of any injuries, body composition, and general exercise assessment.
The newly generated Update program is demonstrated,  instructed and video recorded during the second consultation whilst you complete each exercise. The program is reviewed in the same manner the of the New Program.

In addition to the program reviews included in the New and Update Program packages, (one for each program split), clients may wish to schedule additional reviews to review technique and adjust the program if needed.
