Update Gym/Exercise Program
by an Exercise Specialist

UPDATE PROGRAM
Unique personalised gym/ exercise programs created by a Physiotherapist and Exercise Physiologist.
Designed for your individual goals and needs whilst taking into account any specific injuries or areas of concern.
The program begins with Consltation during which  there is a review of your previous program along with review of injuries and  exercise preferences.
lThe updated program is then created by Function and Form. During the second consultation your new program is demonstrated and recorded as you complete each exercise.  Approximately two weeks later there is a follow up appointment to ensure the exercise execution in on point and to progress the intensity of the exercise if appropriate.
Clients may then wish to attend intermittent Personal Training sessions to refine their technique and effectivley target muscles etc by attending a Exercise Program Review Session.
After 6-8 weeks it is recommended to update your program with new exercises

This is where you try your program for the first time. We demonstrate each exercise and then video you performing the exercises with verbal instructions, this is your forever record of each exercise, that you will use in the first few weeks to check you're performing the exercises correctly.
Be mindful that "how' you perform each exercise is super important and the big difference between training with many other Pt's and training at Function and Form.
Its about activating the correct muscles, creating the right set up and optimising the movement. This can make all the difference in terms of whether an exercise creates pain or creates positive change.
We also show how to record sets, reps and how to progress your program intensity.
For each program an individual run through is required. Ie a two day split program requires two separate run throughs.

Demonstrate how to record exercises sets & reps
